I had full left knee replacement surgery on August 9th 2023. Dr. Bell and his staff were absolutely terrific. The pre & post surgery consultations were thorough and informative, and surgery itself was a complete success. It has now been 12 weeks since the surgery and I’m back fully exercising (walking, cycling, weights, etc.) with no pain or discomfort. Many thanks again to Dr. Bell and his team.

At our first meeting with Dr. Bell, both my husband and I were very impressed with his professionalism. At each visit, Dr Bell gave detailed explanations and was never too rushed to answer any and all questions. I had my left total knee 6 weeks ago today and my deepest regret is that I did not get it done sooner! Dr. Phillip Bell did a total knee replacement surgery on me, August 8, 2023. I highly recommend him to do your knee. He is an outstanding Doctor, caring and has you back to see him a few times before he turns you loose. His assistant , Catherine is awesome also. She picks up her phone and talksto you. Everyone at JOI was very pleasant. Dr. Bell is a top notch surgeon. Everyone says the scar (little to known) is beautiful. It's important to do your physical therapy.

I just had my one year check up following knee replacement surgery. I was terrified to have the surgery based on stories heard from friends of the bad outcome and enduring pain following their surgeries; some for years later. Following my surgery I was pain free from my very first step and no pain throughout recovery. I feel very fortunate to have found, Dr. Philip Bell. It was by chance that my wife was at a doctor’s appointment and talked with a man that had recently been a knee replacement patient of Dr. Bell. Noticing the scar on his knee she asked if he had a knee replacement and how amazing his scar looked. That’s when I learned about Dr Bell. What I thought was if a doctor is detail oriented enough to take the time to leave a minimal scar then he was the doctor for me.
My first visit was incredible. I was immediately impressed with him and how confident he was that he could give me the outcome I was hoping for. We went over everything that would take place leading up to my surgery day. I had my knee replaced on January 5, 2021. Being after Covid it took a little while before I could be scheduled. They had to catch up to the back lot of patients. His staff kept me updated with scheduling and any questions I had regarding timetables and prep issues. The morning of my surgery, when Dr. Bell came in to see me pre-surgery he made sure that any questions I had were addressed. His professionalism throughout pre and post surgery was exemplary. Surgery went so smoothly as expected and then he was there ANYTHING I needed he addressed it. Thanks to his expertise my recovery went really well. I have maximum flexibility from the third week post op. I’m sure I’m not typical but that’s what his expertise in my surgery did for me. I just saw him for a 2 year checkup and everything is in great shape.
If there is someone looking for an incredible doctor for a knee replacement, he is at the top of the list. Dr. Phillip Bell is professional, experienced, knowledgeable, and so easy to talk to. Most importantly he cares about his patients. I recommend him to everybody I know. He’s the BEST.

Dr. Bell was amazing! He is kind, communicates everything needed and I highly recommend him. I am 54 and had a left hip replacement. I just left his office after my 6 week visit and am walking without pain in my hip!! His assistant Kathryn responds quickly and is also so helpful! Don't wait to see him for hip issues!!

Dr. Bell is a highly professional, knowledgeable and personable orthopedic doctor. I was nervous after a not so good outcome of my hip replacement by another doctor, but Dr. Bell put me at ease at my first office visit and I felt very confident that he would give me the best possible outcome. Now, 6 weeks past surgery, not only do I have a fully functioning knee and leg, but he was able to relieve me of the pain and imbalance my earlier hip replacement had caused me to have when walking. For the first time in 2 years I can walk without a cane and without pain. He gave me back my mobility at age 84. Dr. Bell is not only a miracle worker but also a fantastic person. I highly recommend him and feel fortunate to know such a great doctor. He is the best!!!

Dr. Bell has been a blessing. He took such good care of my grandma and gave her instant relief right after surgery. Phillip bell was dedicated and gave her a quality of life again and she is not in pain anymore, she is comfortable now with her new hip replacement living her best life. I honestly can't recommend him enough. I actually feel bad for people who have unsuccessful hip replacements because all I want to say is, "I wish you could have gone to Dr.Bell."
