Great surgeon with well-deserved reputation

Dr. Bell has been my orthopedic surgeon for several years. In that time he has completely replaced both of my knees, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the results. All the members of his staff were friendly and helpful in their respective jobs. Over the course of my visits, we tried alternatives to surgery, including knee braces. When it became obvious that surgery was the best solution, he showed me the x-rays and models of the actual implants, explaining the procedure and answering all my questions. With appropriate anesthesia, the actual surgeries on each knee were painless, and physical therapy after the surgery has restored my ability to walk without pain. Dr. Bell performs excellent follow-up care, including visits shortly after the surgery and more over several years afterwards, insuring my recovery is on track. I highly recommend Dr. Phillip Bell to anyone in need of orthopedic care.

Hip Replacement

I did my research and Dr. Bell stood head and shoulders above the other Orthopedic Surgeons who did hip replacement surgery. I could not be happier as a 73 year old hip replacement patient. Dr. Bell and his staff were great, friendly, informative and efficient! Recovery was amazing - less pain from day one than prior to the surgery. Walker for a week and then a cane for a week! By six weeks activity level greater than before surgery and with no pain! I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Phillip Bell!!!!

Very professional. Thoroughly explained the x-rays that were taken. Compared them to the ones taken at the time of surgery. Ask appropriate questions about hip and pain levels. I had absolutely no pain following surgery.

He lets you know exactly how the knee replacement is done. He answers any questions you have, takes time to meet with you after the surgery to go over your results. I did not have to make multiple calls for prescriptions and equipment everything was done. This is a first class operation.

Dr. Bell did a fantastic job on my hip replacement and I just completed my 1 year follow up and all is good! Dr. Bell goes above and beyond for his patients!
